DMR Radio

DMR stands for Digital Mobile Radio. Digital mobile radio (DMR) is an open digital mobile radio standard defined in the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) Standard TS 102 361 parts 1–4[1] and used in commercial products around the world. The definition previously provided comes from Wikipedia and more specific information regarding DMR can be found at that location.

The repeater system I installed here consists of a Motorola XPR8400 Repeater, one Telewave UHF Band Pass/Band Reject Duplexer, 70 feet of 5/8 Andrews Hardline and a Diamond F718A UHF Omni Directional Antenna. The repeater should cover around thirty miles or more of Henry County, VA.

Below is the DMR Repeater Codeplug Setup that everyone should follow. Please do not deviate from this setup. This ensures everyone a pleasurable experience. The repeater is open to those that are licensed amateur radio operators. Please be courteous to each other and follow the part 97 rules that govern the amateur radio service. Thanks, and enjoy DMR Radio.

PLEASE DO NOT USE ANY TALKGROUPS NOT LISTED HERE ON MY WEBSITE

It makes it hard for other users to follow QSO's and essentially join them. Furthermore, this is a repeater and not a hotspot that allows users to access hundreds of TG's.
Enjoy the repeater and definitely use it!

Net Watch/Last Heard can be found below.
If you have any issues with the repeater, please contact me via the contact page and I will get back with you as soon as possible. Thanks and 73 de Ryan, N2TEK.
